SINUMERIK 840D sl Service (NC-84SL-SERV)

  • This course is aimed at Maintenance and Service Engineers who wish to maintain and service SINUMERIK 840D sl equipment. On completion of the course delegates will have the knowledge and abilities necessary to handle ongoing service and maintenance work on the machine tools SINUMERIK 840D sl and SINAMICS S120. They will also be able to perform second startups and pinpoint and correct any faults.

  • On completion of the course the student will be able to:-
  • Overview and components of the SINUMERIK 840D sl
  • Introduction to operation
  • Data backup and restart
  • Analysis of fault displays and diagnostics displays
  • Basic configuration of the axes and drives
  • Adaptation of the machine data following mechanical maintenance work
  • Structure of the user program
  • NC/PLC interface structure, interface signals, and user alarms
  • Practical training for the commissioning and fault finding by means of our extensive simulation equipment

Vereiste voorwaarden

  • A basic knowledge of 840D
  • Attendance on the S7-SERV1 course would be beneficial
  • Basic PC literacy, keyboard and mouse skills
