SIPROTEC 5 - IEC 61850 training. (Add-on) (H-SIP5IEC61850)

  • In deze cursus van één dag, als aanvulling op de SIPROTEC 5 basiscursus, leert u omgaan met de 3 soorten van GOOSE koppelingen en het bouwen daarvan aan de hand van een voorbeeld met verschillende prioriteiten. Het leren kennen van de IEC 615850 basis achtergrond en opzet alleen bezien vanuit het gebruik binnen DIGSI 5 en de Systeem Configurator. Introductie van de IEC 61850 Processbus als nieuwe mogelijkheid voor het inzetten van een SIPROTEC 5 als Merger en mogelijke toepassingen.

Target Group

  • This course is meant for persons involved with the engineering process, the determination of settings, programming, and using protections of the SIPROTEC 5 range if the IEC 61850 is really going to be used for intercommunication. Engineers, commissioning engineers and maintenance technicians.

Content

  • The topics covered in this course are:

    • IEC 61850 standard: a brief introduction to the reasons and setup.
    • Setting up and building 3 GOOSE configurations, explaining the aspects of the 3 different GOOSE possibilities and testing them.
    • Adjusting the IEC 61850 names and the reasons for the way we do it.
    • The use and possibilities of the System Configurator for these exercises.
    • Introduction to the possibilities of using the Process Bus within the SIPROTEC 5, indicating a combination of Merger and Main protection with the required properties.

Prerequisites

  • Participants are expected to have completed the SIPROTEC 5 DIGSI 5 basic course, as we will continue from where that course left off.

Note

    1. We usually work in groups of 2 people and each group has a PC with the DIGSI-software package and a SIPROTEC security. An OMICRON testing unit is available to test protections.
    2. Within the documentation of the first basic course of 2 days, the theoretical 3 GOOSE possibilities put into practice in this course are discussed. It is therefore advisable to take this first basic documentation with you on this course.
    3. The course has a strong practical character. Everything is aimed at mastering all actions within DIGSI 5 and the System Configurator that must be able to be performed by a technician or engineer for an operational protection.
    4. During the course there is always the possibility to use your own PCs and testing units, provided that the correct versions are installed on them.
