SIPROTEC 4 - advanced with DIGSI 4. (H-SIPGEV)

  • In this two-day course, the participant will perform the following actions:

    • Creating a complete "relay setup" with inputs and outputs for a project.
    • Creating CFC charts.
    • Parameterizing displays.
    • Creating additional display elements.
    • Parameterization of systems (complete installations).
    • Cross-bay interlocks by using GOOSE.
    • Setting system interfaces (e.g. Profibus DP, IEC 60870-5-103, IEC61850 etc.).
    • Reading and evaluating grid failures (intro).

Target Group

  • This course is intended for individuals involved in the engineering process, determining settings, programming and reading protections of the SIPROTEC series up to Version 4.

Content

    • Fully configure SIPROTEC protections using DIGSI 4
    • Program a medium-voltage switchgear with interaction between different bays
    • Create and test custom logical connections using CFC
    • Customize a display using the Display Editor
    • Recognize and adjust signals to and from automation protocols
    • Determine the reason for a possible disconnection based on (fault) messages and reading fault signals
    • During the course, multiple protections are considered as part of a complete installation to achieve the specified learning objectives.

Prerequisites

  • Basic knowledge of the different types of protections as covered in the H-BM course. Knowledge of SIPROTEC 4 and DIGSI 4 as covered in the SIPROTEC 4 Basic Course with DIGSI.

Note

    1. We usually work in groups of 2 people and each group has a PC with the DIGSI software package and a SIPROTEC protection. An OMICRON test case is available to test protections.
    2. The course has a strong practical character. Everything is aimed at mastering all the actions that an engineer must be able to perform to put together a complete project.
    3. During the course there is always the possibility to use your own PCs and power cases.
