Diagnostics is an essential element for the configuration and maintenance of a PROFINET network. In addition to the integrated diagnostic tools, TIA Portal provides various instructions that allow automatic configuration and active monitoring of all the nodes implemented in an automation network. External diagnostic tools are also available.
