App Development Workflow for Industrial Edge (Learning Journey) (TIA-EDGEADW-LJ)

  • In the Learning Journey "App Development Workflow for the Industrial Edge platform" you will learn to develop, dockerize and package your own applications and make them available in the Industrial Edge Management and Hub.
    An optimal mix of guided live modules (online) and self-learning modules will provide you with all the content imperative for your work and sustainable learning success. Various prac-tical tasks in our virtual exercise environment throughout the learning journey help you to prepare for practical application.
    The learning journey provides curated on-demand content to support you in your own personal practice transfer.

  • The Learning Journey consists of:
    • 5 live modules (3-5 hours each); In addition to the live modules, you should plan about 1 hour of self-study time per day as well as dial-in and follow-up times.
    • 7 self-learning modules (approx. 9 hours)
    • On-demand themed content (approx. 9 hours)
    • Individual transfer support in the form of a 1:1 coaching (1 hour)

  • A learning membership to work through the self-learning modules and access to on-demand content is included for 1 year.

  • Topics
    • Introduction to the concept and application of the Industrial Edge Device and Industrial Edge Management System.
    • Getting to know the concept of container technology, as well as understanding the basics of Docker.
    • Developing apps in the Industrial Edge environment and testing them locally.
    • Deployment of self-written edge apps in the Industrial Edge Management System or Industrial Edge Hub, as well as getting to know the publishing process.
    • Implementing a wide range of use cases with your own Edge Apps, e.g. KPI analysis, machine learning...
    • Realization of a wide variety of use cases via download in Docker Hub/GitHub.
    • Deepening the content through hands-on exercises on the virtual training device.
