SINAMICS G120 inverters, when used with Control Units with safety functions, become a certified Safety Integrated Drive up to SIL3 / PLe depending on the components used. Safety functions can be controlled both via safe inputs and via PROFIsafe communication.
The course will introduce you to the basic safety functions for the management of SINAMICS G120. You will be shown how to manage safety functions both via digital signals and via PROFIsafe communication with a PLC.

Prerequisites
SIE-G12TIA course or equivalent basic knowledge of automation systems.
