Every certification module consists of a preparation/revision part and the exam itself.
After the second stage of the SIMATIC Service education, you now have the opportunity to take a purely practice-oriented examination for the Siemens Certified SIMATIC Technician. Before the exam itself, you participate in a two-day preparation course in order to be well prepared. In addition to programmable logic controllers (PLC), the exam contains topics such as industrial communication, operator control and monitoring and the commissioning of drives.

In the course, your knowledge from the course Safety in TIA PORTAL via Step 7 Safety Advanced (TIA-SAFETY) is refreshed in a preparatory part. This is followed by an exam with theory questions.
In these exams your PCS 7 knowledge is tested.
On passing the exam, you will receive a certificate. This qualification is a positive verification of your ability and it enhances your chances in the job market.
