Objectives
This one-day introductory training aims to familiarize participants with the equipment and operation of the SIMOCODE pro system. You will gain general knowledge about the various ways SIMOCODE modules can be interconnected and used. You will also learn how to configure SIMOCODE and use its testing and diagnostic functions.
The training covers how SIMOCODE can be integrated into a PLC configuration and how the equipment communicates and operates via PROFINET.

SIMOCODE pro module series (current detection modules, base unit, expansion modules, digital modules, control modules, accessoires)
SIMOCODE pro functions (motor protection and control functions, monitoring and diagnostic functions, logic functions)
Configuration, status, and diagnostics with SIMOCODE ES
Practical exercise using a motor starter example including reversing mechanism (parameterization with SIMOCODE ES, testing, and diagnostics)
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of switching and control equipment for power motors and basic knowledge of automation systems.
