PLCSIM software is a Windows based option which runs under STEP7. This tool provides a method to test, troubleshoot and debug application programs completely independent of PLC hardware. The user can pre-define any S7-300 or S7-400 system hardware configuration including remote I/O via Profibus. Display and modification of discrete, analog and word data plus bit memory, timers, counters, accumulators and flags provides a highly flexible user configured tool. PLCSIM can be used with all STEP7 program editor languages, all user blocks and most system functions. Continuous or single cycle scan modes are available. This is an excellent engineering tool at an exceptional value. (Not available for MicroWin)
The SM374 is an I/O module designed for cost effective testing of discrete input and output logic. This S7-300 format module features 16 toggle switches simulating input signals plus 16 LEDs simulating output signals. A mode selector switch allows the choice of 16 inputs, 16 outputs or a combination of 8 inputs and 8 outputs. This unit is powered from the S7-300 backplane bus, no external power source is required.
The Field Device Simulator panel is a pre-fabricated panel which contains a variety of typical field device signal simulation. Included are 16 toggle switches, 16 LEDs, 1 thumbwheel switch, 1 seven-segment display, 2 analog trimpots and one digital volt meter. The meter includes a four position selection switch to change between analog inputs or analog outputs. This panel is pre-wired and terminated with a cable and two 37-pin D-shell connectors. These connectors plug into a Phoenix style block (FLKM-D37SUB/B, 2 required, not included ). Analog signals wire directly from the S7 module to the field device panel. This panel is a nice start for those who prefer to "build-their-own" using real world hardware.
The Conveyor Belt Model is a simulator providing a real world flavor. It comes complete with 3 proximity sensors, light barrier, forward-reverse belt (motor) controls, 3 push button switches, power indicator and stop/ start push button. The ET200S Remote I/O Module (below) is suggested as the I/O interface or wiring to standard I/O is possible. Connection is through a 37-pin D-shell connector. This is an excellent and fun model for hand-on learning with unlimited application options.
The ET200S Remote I/O Module is a pre-assembled and pre-wired I/O block designed specifically to interface to the Conveyor Belt Model. This unit has the appropriate digital input, output and PROFIBUS interface modules assembled and mounted to an aluminum hanger. 24vdc must be provided externally and can typically be tapped from the S7300 or S7400 rack power supply.
This system is a fully assembled and tested S7-300 simulator. This unit is an updated version of the units used at Siemens Training Centers and combines into a single panel the Field Device Simulator Panel (6ZB2 310-0BH00), the ET200S Remote I/O Module (6ZB2520-0AC00) and the Touch Panel (TP277b). This version system minimizes cabling, external wiring and table space. This unit is also pre wired to interface connectors for the Conveyor Belt Model (6ZB2310-0AP00) which is sold separately. This unit comes with an ATA approved shipping case with casters for mobility. This unit plugs into standard 110VAC power outlet. The S7315-2 DP is the standard CPU, special orders with other CPUs, I/O or HMI panels are available. Standard I/O modules include: 32 point digital input, 32 point digital output, 8 input / 8 output digital combo, 2 point analog output. For those needing a portable all-in-one system, this unit is a nice solution.

This unit is also pre wired to interface connectors for the Conveyor Belt Model (item 4) which is sold separately. The case lid is removable and this unit plugs into standard 110VAC power outlet. The S7315-2 is the standard CPU, special orders with other CPUs and I/O are available. Standard I/O modules include: 32 point digital input, 32 point digital output, 8 input / 8 output digital combo, 2 point analog output. For those needing a portable system, this unit is a nice solution.

The S7400 Simulator System is a packaged unit with an S7 412-2DP CPU and local S7400 I/O. This I/O is wired through 32 pin D-shell connectors to a removable Field Device Panel containing 16 digital inputs (switches), 16 digital outputs (lights), 2 Analog inputs (potentiometers), meter, digital display and thumbwheel switch. The unit comes in a shippable hard shell case with removable lid. This unit is ready to plug into a standard 110vac power outlet and to use for engineering, testing and training. Optional CPUs and I/O modules are available by special order. Optional equipment for this unit include an ET200S PROFIBUS remote I/O module with a pre-wired connection for the Conveyor Belt Model. The Conveyor Belt Model is also an option and not included with the base unit. Units can be customized with choice of CPU and specialty modules, additional charges apply.
The S7200 Simulator System is a compact rack complete with TD200-C display, S7214 XP PLC, EM277 expansion module and field device simulation. This unit has 8 switches and 8 LEDs simulating digital field devices, plus a unique lifting platform which can be position controlled by he PLC. This unit is fun and challenging for any experience level of control engineer or maintenance staff. An optional Motion Simulator S7200 system is also available.
This system is a Universal Micro System demo box. It includes both a LOGO and S7200 control systems which drive a simple motor and slide positioner mounted on the front panel. This unit is fully assembled and ready to go. It comes in a plastic case for light transport and storage. Other S7200 and LOGO systems are also available including a compressor control system, LOGO house control demo and S7200 Motion Control demo.
