PROFINET is suitable for implementation in complex networks, or with details of both performance and robustness. The ability to define the topology allows for simple and quick installation and maintenance, while the implementation of the PROFINET IRT guarantees network response times that can reach up to 250µs. The course will allow you to acquire high skills on the PROFINET network through real-time data exchange between intelligent devices, the use of topology and PROFINET IRT communication. You will also be shown the basics of managing a ring PROFINET network. Finally, you will become familiar with the tools integrated in the TIA Portal for advanced diagnostics.

Theoretical knowledge will be deepened with practical exercises by accessing a remote system. This is made up of:
- 2 SIMATIC S7-1500
- SIMATIC ET 200SP
- SCALANCE X-200
- PC station with SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional (TIA Portal)

TIA-SERV1 or TIA-PRO1 courses or equivalent basic knowledge of automation systems.
SIE-PNBA course or equivalent basic knowledge.
