Messa in servizio Safety per convertitori SINAMICS G120 (SIE-G12SAF)

SINAMICS G120 inverters, when used with Control Units with safety functions, become a certified Safety Integrated Drive up to SIL3 / PLe depending on the components used. Safety functions can be controlled both via safe inputs and via PROFIsafe communication. The course will introduce you to the basic safety functions for the management of SINAMICS G120. You will be shown how to manage safety functions both via digital signals and via PROFIsafe communication with a PLC.

After attending the course, you can:
- Activate the safety functions of a SINAMICS G120 drive
- Manage the safety functions through digital inputs and outputs
- Manage safety functions via PROFIsafe telegram

- System architecture
- Applicable safety regulations
- Parameterization of the safety functions with SINAMICS Startdrive
- Principle of operation of the basic safety functions STO, SS1 and SBC
- Function management via digital inputs and outputs
- Function management via PROFIsafe
- Basic safety diagnostics via the TIA Portal
Theoretical knowledge will be deepened with practical exercises by accessing a remote system. This is made up of:
- SINAMICS G120
- SIMATIC S7-1500F
- PC station with SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional (TIA Portal) and SINAMICS Startdrive
