Siemens SITRAIN in partnership with Siemens Technik Akademie provides a professional grade mechatronics certification programme using a unique systems based  holistic approach. The Siemens Mechatronics System Certification Programme (SMSCP) is a comprehensive skillbuilding  system which can either be run as a standalone mechatronics training programme or combined with existing academic or vocational skills programmes.

Certification is provided at three levels:-

Level 1 – Siemens Certified Mechatronics Systems Assistant.

Level 2 – Siemens Certified Mechatronics Systems Associate

Level 3 – Siemens Mechatronics Systems Professional

This is not a Siemens product training programme but a well proven set of learning modules to build a high level of mechatronics capability to underpin a wide range of engineering skills.

In the UK SMSCP is only available through Siemens SITRAIN UK  or its approved skills partners involved in both the world of education or professional technical learning.

How to become a partner School

Because the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program is only offered through a select few approved partner institutions, your Siemens partnership is an additional mark of distinction that shows that you stand out among technic and engineering.

To be involved in this programme prospective partners need to:-

  • Be able to demonstrate their proven capability as a professional skills provider in the UK
     
  • Have significant experience in the successful provision of engineering learning and skills programmes in the UK.
     
  • Present to SIEMENS SITRAIN UK a three year business plan for the initial implementation and development of SMSCP in their markets with a forward plan for a further two years.
     
  • Commit to SMSCP instructor training at Siemens and maintaining two instructors for each level of SMSCP to be delivered
     
  • Commit to a minimum level of SMSCP certificate completions per year
     
  • Install a Siemens automation equipped Mechatronics training system that meets the SMSCP specification for the certification levels the partner wishes to deliver.
