The Apprenticeship Levy
The Apprenticeship Levy is being introduced by the government in April 2017 to fund 3 million apprenticeship starts by 2020.
The levy is set at 0.5% of an employer’s overall salary bill and will be collected through PAYE. It will only be payable if as a company your payee bill is £3 million per annum or more. This money will be placed into a digital account for you to spend on Apprenticeship training and the government will top up this account by 10%.
If you would like more information on the Apprenticeship Levy, how it will affect your business and how you can plan to maximise on your levy spend then please call Emma Worthington on 07808 827296, email firstname.lastname@example.org or click here for more details.
