Control and Technical Support/Control Systems Engineer L6 Degree Apprenticeship

Delivered since September 2017, in partnership with Tameside College and the University of Salford, this level 6 apprenticeship is delivered over 4-5 years and includes the SITRAIN Certified PLC Programmer accreditation. The full delivery model incorporates EAL EUCA practical units, a HND and, in year 4, a BEng (Hons) in Automation & Control delivered full time in the first year and then in blocks from the second year.

In addition to the off the job training delivery, apprentices benefit from a dedicated skills coach who will carry out regular learner reviews, provide feedback on portfolio evidence submissions and prepare for end point assessment.

This apprenticeship is one of very few that is designed by employers, for employers and delivered by an employer that includes specialist training content uniquley delivered by SITRAIN.
