Application-Based Training for Stacker Cranes (AP-ASRS-CZ)

  • This training focuses on the implementation of a Stacker Crane application using SINAMICS S/G Drives and a SIMATIC S7-1500 Controller. With the help of the ASRS: Stacker Crane Application Guidelines and the SIMATIC Modular Application Creator, participants will learn how to efficiently dimension and configure the system. The solution enables automatic generation of a complete TIA Portal project, including all necessary technology objects (or Basic Positioner), program logic, library sources, and configuration settings for commissioning. An example HMI is also provided to offer a clear visual representation of the configuration.

Objectives

  • To familiarize participants with the Stacker Crane application in an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), covering product usage, sizing, configuration, functionality, commissioning and maintenance.
