SIMATIC PCS 7 Service (ST-PCS7SR)

Objectives

This training gives a basic knowledge of PCS7's different components in an existing project. We go through hardware, software and the operator station. SIMATIC PCS 7 standard library for CFC and faceplate for operator station will be treated.
Target is to be able to do minor changes, troubleshoot and operate plants set up with PCS7.

Content

- SIMATIC Manager and other tools for engineering, diagnosis and troubleshooting
- System overview and architecture
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting and change of hardware
- Engineering concept from I/O to automation and operator system
- Hardware configuring of AS and OS
- Programming in Contious Function Chart, CFC
- Review of comunication between automation and operator system
- Small changes in the programs and changes in the operator system

Prerequisites

General basic knowledge of process automation. Basic knowledge of PCS 7 OS. Good experience in AS configuration within PCS 7.
