The ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards defines security requirements and related processes applicable to all major players in the OT sector: asset owners, service providers/system integrators, and component manufacturers. This course aims to provide a detailed overview of the main contents of the third part of the ISA/IEC 62443 framework, which focuses on system and architecture security requirements. Specifically, the standard serves as a reference for the design and assessment of IACS system security, with particular attention to Security Levels (SL) and the associated technical requirements. Through the course, participants will gain a clear understanding of how an industrial architecture should be designed, implemented, and assessed from a cybersecurity perspective, supported by practical examples and use cases to facilitate comprehension of the concepts.

- Understand the structure of the IEC/ISA 62443 standard with a focus on Part 3.
- Analyze in detail the IEC 62443-3-1, 62443-3-2, and 62443-3-3 standards.
