Team Engineering in TIA Portal (SIE-TMENG)

In projects involving multiple people, it is essential to have tools available that simplify development and commissioning with multiple users at the same time. TIA Portal offers a wide range of alternatives, from Team Engineering on a local network to project management in the cloud, from user administration to joint commissioning. The course will allow you to understand the use of the TIA Portal tools for development and commissioning of projects shared by multiple users. You will be provided with information on the possibilities of the Engineering Team, the TIA Portal Cloud Connector and the TIA Portal User Management Component.

After attending the course, you can:
- Work with multiple users on the same offline project
- Work with multiple users on one PLC
- Work on a cloud project

- System architecture
- Management of Multiuser Engineering
- Data exchange between projects via Inter Project Engineering (IPE)
- Commissioning of projects in common between multiple users
- Access with TIA Portal Cloud Connector via remote desktop to private clouds
- Project and library management with TIA Portal Teamcenter Gateway
- Use of the TIA Portal UMC for managing user groups
The theoretical knowledge will be deepened with practical exercises by accessing a remote system. This is made up of:
- SIMATIC S7-1500
- PC station with SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional (TIA Portal)

TIA-SERV1 or TIA-PRO1 course or equivalent basic knowledge of automation systems.
