The SINAMICS G120 frequency converter is ideal for the precise and economical regulation of three-phase motors, suitable for multiple drive solutions thanks to power ratings from 0.37 kW to 250 kW. The possibility of integration in the TIA Portal environment allows a better versatility and management of the system. The course will provide you with the basic skills for the first commissioning of a SINAMICS G120. It will allow you to acquire the basics for parameterizing a SINAMICS G120 drive via Startdrive and its control and operation using the technology objects of an S7-1500.

After attending the course, you can:
- Integrate a SINAMICS G120 drive into a TIA Portal project
- Establish a connection between a SINAMICS G120 and a SIMATIC S7-1500
- Configure a SINAMICS G120 as a technology object in speed and positioning
- Use the diagnostic functions of the TIA Portal
