The SINAMICS G120 frequency converter is ideal for the precise and economical regulation of three-phase motors, suitable for multiple drive solutions thanks to power ratings from 0.37 kW to 250 kW. The course will provide you with the basic skills for the first time in service of a stand alone SINAMICS G120. You will be shown how to install a SINAMICS G120 and parameterize it via the integrated panel (BOP-2 and IOP).

After attending the course, you can:
- Recognize the various SINAMICS G120 components
- Parameterize a SINAMICS G120 drive via BOP-2 and IOP
- Carry out a motor test

- Architecture of a SINAMICS G120 system and types
- Installation of Control Unit and Power Module
- Using the BOP-2
- Main parameters for initial commissioning of the converter via BOP-2
- Motor test
- Advanced features of the IOP
- Diagnostics via Operator Panel
Theoretical knowledge will be deepened with practical exercises by accessing a remote system. This is made up of:
