Diagnostica reti PROFINET e sistemi Fail-Safe (TIA-DIAG-PNS)

  • This course provides the basic skills required for diagnosing and maintaining PROFINET communication networks and Fail‑Safe safety systems in industrial automation environments. The objective is to enable technical personnel to quickly identify the main communication issues, correctly intervene on distributed I/O devices, and restore plant operation while minimizing machine downtime. The first part of the course introduces the operating principles of a PROFINET network, with a specific focus on hardware and software diagnostic techniques. Participants will learn to use the analysis tools available in TIA Portal and dedicated applications such as PRONETA, useful for identifying configuration, communication, or wiring issues. Proper procedures for replacing SIMATIC ET200 distributed I/O devices will also be presented. The second part is dedicated to Fail‑Safe systems, including an overview of key reference standards and wiring methods between field devices and safety modules. Diagnostic techniques via module LED indicators and software tools will be illustrated, along with procedures for replacing and restoring hardware components without altering the system’s F‑Signature.

Objectives

  • After attending the course, you will be able to:
    • Quickly recognize the main anomalies that can occur in a PROFINET network
    • Replace a SIMATIC ET200 distributed I/O device
    • Correctly replace a safety‑related component without altering the F‑Signature
