The possibility of integrating SINAMICS G120 drives into the TIA Portal environment allows for improved versatility and system management. The course will provide you with the basic skills for the first commissioning of a SINAMICS G120. It will allow you to acquire the basics for parameterizing a SINAMICS G120 drive through SINAMICS Startdrive and its command and control with the use of the Drive_Lib functions with a SIMATIC S7-1200 automation system.

After attending the course, you can:
- Integrate a SINAMICS G120 drive into a TIA Portal project
- Establish a connection between a SINAMICS G120 and a SIMATIC S7-1200
- Carry out a speed and position check via library functions
- Use the diagnostic functions of the TIA Portal

- Architecture of a SINAMICS G120 system and types
- Parameterization of a SINAMICS G120 via SINAMICS Startdrive
- Speed control of a SINAMICS G120 via SINA_SPEED
- Positioning control of a SINAMICS G120 via SINA_POS
- Reading and writing parameters via SINA_PARA
- Basic diagnostics and trace functions
