What are the technical requirements to attend an online training with virtual lab (VLAB)?
Requirements
PC with mouse and keyboard or tablet
Internet connection:
– Data transfer rate of minimum 15 Mbit/s is required with stable internet connection
– Your firewall must not block access to our virtual lab (VLAB)
– Your firewall must not block access to websockets (wss:// connections using TCP and HTTPS with port 443)
Web browser with HTML5 support (recommended: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox)
Downloads should be allowed by your company (to download exercises and projects)
Additional recommendations
Microsoft Teams App, webcam
Two monitors or one monitor and a tablet (recommended resolution 1920 x 1080)
Testing the access to the virtual lab application
To test the access to our virtual lab, proceed as follows:
If you already got a course invitation, please use the link from your invitational email. Otherwise, you can access our virtual lab application in a web browser with: https://vlab.siemens.cloud
You will be forwarded to Siemens ID login. Please log in with your credentials.
As a new user, please register with your provided email address and create a user name.
When your log in was successful, you will be forwarded to virtual lab starting page.
Congratulations, you now can use virtual lab as far as a course is provided.
