With increasing demands for cybersecurity resilience in industrial automation, new functionalities have been integrated into TIA Portal. This training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to implement security measures effectively within the TIA Portal environment, ensuring protection against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Objectives
The course focuses on these new functionalities and describes options for securing projects, control and visualization systems, and communication with them. It also includes an introduction to the concept of user management, digital certificates, and methods for encrypting communication protocols.
The course does not cover the area of Safety, i.e., operational safety of the machine. This topic is addressed in the course: TIA-SAFETY (Programming Simatic Safety).
