SIMATIC PCS 7 Process Safety (ST-PCS7SAF)

In this classroom course you will learn how to create a failsafe application with CFC in compliance with PCS 7 and how to use the Safety Matrix. You will experience a perfect combination of theory and practical exercises.

The theoretical parts of the training are supported by practical exercises. These are carried out on failsafe CPU 410-5H automation systems with communication via Profinet and failsafe signal modules in the ET 200SP HA.

After attending the course, you can do the following:
- Raise your awareness of the Machinery Directive and relevant standards
- Select and configure failsafe hardware according to your functional safety requirements
- Commission failsafe SIMATIC controllers
- Configure safety-related functions and determine and set safety-relevant times

- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting in failsafe systems and programs
