Control Automation in Mechatronic Systems - Basics (TB-CAMS-B)

  • This course provides fundamental knowledge in control technology for mechatronic systems. Participants will learn to integrate sensors and actuators into control systems, set up and commission electropneumatic systems, and program robots (LBR UR). Additionally, additive manufacturing processes will be covered. The hands-on approach allows participants to apply their skills directly and acquire valuable competencies in robotics, PLC control, and fault diagnosis. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to apply their knowledge directly in production and maintenance, leading to more efficient workflows and reduced downtime.

Objectives

  • After the course, participants will be able to:
    • understand the basic principles of pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, and control technology
    • apply learned knowledge to optimize workflows and improve troubleshooting
    • combine electrical controls with pneumatic power components
    • confidently handle standards and regulations in the field of pneumatics and control technology
    • troubleshoot issues with robots (e.g., LBR UR)
    • apply additive manufacturing processes
