Additive Fertigungsverfahren Grundlagen (TB-ADDMB)

  • Employees with a deep interest in additive manufacturing technologies enhance their knowledge of the increasingly important process of 3D printing during the training.   • The goal of this training is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in this innovative field. It is aimed at beginners in additive manufacturing processes (3D printing) and provides all the necessary basics. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the various technologies, materials, and applications of additive manufacturing.

  • The training covers the following topics:
    • Additive manufacturing processes – state of the art and trends
    • Digital process and value chain through “additive manufacturing processes”
    • Advantages and disadvantages of disruptive versus conventional manufacturing processes
    • Development of digital designs with CAD program NX
    • Data preparation for manufacturing preparation, execution, and post-processing
    • Design possibilities in the dimensioning and construction of components
    • Preparation of 3D printers (Ultimaker)
    • Setting up communication interfaces between PC and Ultimaker
    • Preparing and checking, if necessary, editing STL data and transferring it to the printer
    • Manufacturing different components including operating 3D printers for plastics
