SINUMERIK PAL-Seminar C - Measurement and parameters (Online) (NC-PAL-C)

Objectives

  • Our PAL seminars teach the use of PAL CNC examination controls with a 3D machine room and machining simulation. The CNC training in DIN/ISO code is comprehensively covered.
  • Currently, three seminars are being offered, which build on each other at least partially. The seminars introduce the application of the software components of the training software TopCNC-Suite.

Content

  • Structure and Operation of 3D Probes
  • Quality control with 3D probes in the CNC machine, including rework with in-process measurements (with manual evaluation/with automatic evaluation)
  • Setting the zero point using 3D probes (G8 LM500 – G8 LM573)
  • Measuring geometric elements with all basic measurement cycles (G8 LM400 – G8 LM411)
  • Measuring geometric elements with machining cycles and the "Measure" machining selection (QM5)
  • Quality control with 3D probes in the CNC simulation, including good parts, rejects, rework with in-process measurements (determination of wear correction values)
  • Programming with sister tools
  • Programming modal tolerance values for form and positional deviations
  • Output of a measurement protocol
  • Parameter programming (system parameters, calculation parameters, parameter assignments, calculations with parameters, development of parameterized NC programs)
  • Methodology/Didactics: Design variants for CNC training and further education with the e-learning module TopTrain
