Actuator Sensor-Interface System Course (IK-ASISYS)

Objectives

  • This course provides you with system knowledge of the AS-Interface standardized networking system. It deals with the gateways to PROFIBUS and PROFINET and provides the necessary fundamental fieldbus knowledge. You will connect the AS-Interface components for ASIsafe® (safety monitor, EMERGENCY STOP switch, position switches, etc.) to an AS-Interface network, and configure with help of asimon graphical Software Tool. These practical exercises will reinforce your theoretical knowledge. On completion of the course, you will be familiar with the functions of the system and you will be able to plan, configure and start up the AS-Interface for your automation system.
