Online-Training - KNX - Advanced course (certified by KNX Association) (BC-KNXA1)

Short Description

  • This online-course provides you with information on the extended options provided by KNX building system technology. Open and closed-loop lighting control, logic, scenes, various transmission media, displays and operator controls, HVAC applications, safety systems, remote signaling, telecontrol and remote alarms, remote parameterization and maintenance of KNX systems are the key areas that you will learn more about.
    It is not an exclusively product-based course and also gives valuable general hints and tips that are essential for successful system programming.

Objectives

  • During the training, you will apply your new-found knowledge in exercises and thereby improve your learning results. The course then ends with the theoretical and practical KNX exam. On passing this exam, you receive the KNX certificate and can then conclude the KNX Partner contract with the KNX Association.

Prerequisites

  • Mandatory: Being graduate (exam passed) of a certfied KNX Basic Training from any KNX certified training center; Experience in using MS Windows 10 or higher

  • Optional: Practical experience with real KNX projects

Note

  • We use ETS5; the training schedule is split in a preparation phase (between 3 and 7 days before the actual training starts), announced by the trainer, and a one week regular training in which the students use a life meeting tool, such as Teams or Circuit, and Teamviewer for remote access to the training laptops. This course is evaluated as a partial module for the qualification "Siemens KNX Building System Specialist" and counts 5 points. (12 required). This course will also be published on the KNX internet platform https://my.knx.org/
