You will learn how to set up and commission the SIMOTION system, including the settings of drives and visualization devices. The course also includes programming motion sequences using the Motion Control Chart (MCC) and ladder programming languages. In practical demonstrations, emphasis is placed especially on positioning, synchronous operation and cam technologies. This course will enable you to make optimal use of SIMOTION in your automation tasks.
SINAMICS G120 in the TIA Portal environment
The course is intended for users of G120 series frequency converters in the TIA Portal environment.

This training focuses on the implementation of a Stacker Crane application using SINAMICS S/G Drives and a SIMATIC S7-1500 Controller. With the help of the ASRS: Stacker Crane Application Guidelines and the SIMATIC Modular Application Creator, participants will learn how to efficiently dimension and configure the system. The solution enables automatic generation of a complete TIA Portal project, including all necessary technology objects (or Basic Positioner), program logic, library sources, and configuration settings for commissioning. An example HMI is also provided to offer a clear visual representation of the configuration.
