IT Essentials Advanced Training (BT-I75)

Doelen

  • The purpose of the IT Essentials Advanced training is to give the trainees insight in the IT standard hardware and the purpose of the materials. They will learn to use Proxmox as a hypervisor and build a project on it. They will learn how tu use IaCoWbs to build a project following the Siemens cybersecurity guidelines provided by Sfera. They will extend their knowledge about certificates and do basic troubleshooting.

  • BIOS / UEFI configuration
  • Remote Management Console configuration
  • Proxmox as a hypervisor
  • Installing Proxmox
  • Create a virtual machine in Proxmox
  • Install the operating system unattended and install drivers and guest tools.
  • Use IaCoWbs to configure a domain controller
  • Get to know the WSUS and VAMT applications
  • Learn to install a Siemens application with IaCoWbs
  • Get hands-on experience on how to install a physical computer
  • Learn more about Active Directory Certificate Services
  • Learn more about group policies, their structure and they work.
  • Get hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting
