SINAMICS S120 - Functions in TIA Portal (DR-S12-P2T)

  • In this course you learn to put the converter system SINAMICS S120 into operation using the PC-tool Startdrive in the TIA Portal. You can adapt the parameters to the respective application and perform diagnostics in case of a fault.

  • Your area of responsibility includes the commissioning of the SINAMICS S120 drive system with the Startdrive commissioning software in TIA Portal.
  • Modern inverters offer a variety of functions and setting options. After the course, you will be able to commission several specific functions of the SINAMICS S120 inverter safely and efficiently.

  • Parameterization and diagnostics using Startdrive configuration software in the TIA Portal:
    • Using standard functions in a SERVO or VECTOR environment
    • Introduction to positioning with the Basic Positioner (BPOS)
    • Drive-based Safety Integrated safety functions (basic functions)
  • Practical exercises on training kits with SINAMICS S120 in booksize frame with servo motor and induction motor

  • Knowledge in accordance with training DR-S12-P1T
