Application-Based Training for Stacker Cranes (AP-ASRS-CZ)

This training focuses on the implementation of a Stacker Crane application using SINAMICS S/G Drives and a SIMATIC S7-1500 Controller. With the help of the ASRS: Stacker Crane Application Guidelines and the SIMATIC Modular Application Creator, participants will learn how to efficiently dimension and configure the system. The solution enables automatic generation of a complete TIA Portal project, including all necessary technology objects (or Basic Positioner), program logic, library sources, and configuration settings for commissioning. An example HMI is also provided to offer a clear visual representation of the configuration.

To familiarize participants with the Stacker Crane application in an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), covering product usage, sizing, configuration, functionality, commissioning and maintenance.

• Project generation and commissioning using the Modular Application Creator

• Motion and functionality testing on a real model, virtual HMI, trace recording, and diagnostics
• Drive optimization, troubleshooting and maintenance best practices
